Northshore returned to Yamasaki 40 years after our original design to update the master plan, renovate and add to this award winning campus design. The Religious School Expansion includes a new School Administration Wing, new School Reception Building, and new Reception Building Entry for the existing Social Hall and Chapel Complex.

The Cultural and Religious Center includes a library, an 1000-seat sanctuary, a religious school with 36 classrooms, banquet facilities, auditorium and administrative offices.

The Religious School Building Addition nearly doubles its present capacity. The existing building will be provided with new lighting and air conditioning systems, energy management, ADA conformance and a new student reception entrance to improve the safety and convenience of student movements. The design places the proposed school addition beneath the present east outdoor play area with its full length exterior glass wall open to the natural light of a terraced garden formed by reshaping the ground contours of the site.

The 20 acre gardens surrounding the complex have been planned to provide added parking, illumination, site security systems and forestry management.
