The Pierce Street building is the first of YAMASAKI’s redevelopment projects for Birmingham. The project followed the guidelines of the Birmingham 2016 Master Plan accepted by the City as an overlay ordinance.

The building responded to the historic character of the urban center of Birmingham, while providing the city with a sophisticated level of residential units previously unavailable. The building also includes retail units and enclosed parking at ground level.
